AirWait ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information you authorize those services to share (typically email and name).
Flight Data
When you add flights, we store flight numbers, confirmation numbers, passenger names, airport codes, and departure times in our secure cloud database. This data is associated with your account to provide persistent tracking across sessions.
Location Data
With your permission, we access your device location to detect the nearest airport and calculate driving time. Location data is processed on-device and through routing services to provide travel time estimates. We do not store your location history on our servers.
Wait Time Reports
When you submit a TSA wait time report, we store the airport code, reported wait time, terminal, checkpoint, and your user ID. Reports are used to improve wait time accuracy for all users.
Device Information
We collect device tokens for push notification delivery. We also collect anonymous analytics data (screen views, feature usage) through Firebase Analytics to improve the app experience.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which provides encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal data with advertisers. Aggregated, anonymized wait time data may be displayed publicly within the app to benefit all users.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Flight data for past flights is retained for your reference. You can delete individual flights at any time from within the app. You can delete your entire account and all associated data from the Profile tab.

AirWait is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy within the app. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
